On the protection of non-human beings and the environment in war

In a blog post for the LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security, I explore how non-human beings and the environment can be better protected in war.

The piece builds on a presentation of the first Gender, Nature and Peace workshop in London in June 2019. In the presentation and the blog post I explore the lessons we can learn from the UN’s Women, Peace and Security agenda in making crimes against the Earth visible, and in innovating international law and policies.
