Two leading Dutch newspapers, Trouw and NRC, named ‘The dream of The Hague’ one of the best books of the year.
Trouw considered it one of the 25 best books of 2024 and wrote: “A perfect read in times of horrific wars and increasing tensions in the world.”
NRC included ‘De droom van Den Haag’ in its list of best non-fiction books of the year. “Time travel to the origins in The Hague of the multilateral order which is now so much under pressure. Dynamic diplomatic history.”
