Personal

I was born in the autumn of 1988 in Southern Germany and dedicated my career to a better understanding, the promotion, and the advancement of international law and international relations. A strong sense of justice keeps me going. Long-distance running teaches me to be perseverant. I live in The Hague, the Netherlands and speak German, Dutch, English, and French.

Experience

I have worked as a policy-maker for the government of the Netherlands, and as a strategist on humanitarian advocacy and communications in the non-profit sector, including for the foundation of Nobel Peace laureate Denis Mukwege. As a journalist, I have reported for leading media outlets from more than a dozen countries.

Achievements

In 2018, I managed the communications activities during the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize for the foundation of the Congolese human rights activist Denis Mukwege.

I coordinated the ideation of and supported the lobby for the establishment of the Global Survivors Fund – an innovative, multi-million Euro mechanism for war survivors (launched at the UN in 2019).
